Imperialism, here, is referring to the establishment and maintenance of unequal relationships between civilizations supporting the more powerful civilisation. Many scholars employ the term, particularly those in the fields of history, cultural studies, and postcolonial theory. The term is generally used in an uncomplimentary sense, frequently in coincidence with a call to reject such influence. Cultural imperialism can take different forms, such as an attitude, a formal policy, military action, so long as it emphasises cultural hegemony .
The difference of cultural and military Imperialism is, cultural imperialism is suggesting to the creation and maintenance of unequal relationships between civilizations supporting the most powerful. Military imperialism is a policy only some military’s use because it is the policies of such governments.
